Becoming a seed hub for Asia is an ambition formulated by the Thai government and Thai seed industry. During a seminar in Chiang Mai on 3 July 2017, the findings of the first Access to Seeds Index were presented to discuss opportunities for the Thai seed industry.
Also experts from Wageningen University were invited to give an update on the latest developments in seed technology. The event was organised by the Thai Agricultural Technology and Innovation Management Institute.
