At 6 February a first Technical Advisory Group (TAG) met to discuss the draft methodology of the Access to Seeds Index. This TAG focuses primarily the possible role of seed companies in bridging the gap with smallholder farmers in marketing and distribution, capacity building of farmers and capacity advancement in local seed sectors.
