Rice Seed System in ThailandIn this ARE Working Paper No. 2561/2, Orachos Napasintuwong argues that quality rice seed is not only important for food security, but it also an important factor contributing to the competitiveness of Thai rice in the world seed market. Nevertheless, it is found that some of current regulations and business environment do not create much incentive for investments for the private sector. The Access to Seeds Index 2016 is one of the sources used for this peer-reviewed paper.
